Government policy and the laws enacted to implement that policy have a significant impact on agriculture in the United States, in the European Union, and in other regions of the world. ACE research and outreach in agricultural, environmental, and food policy and law focus on critical issues. These include federal farm programs, rural land use, conservation, regulation of biofuels and genetically modified organisms, marketing of agricultural products, food safety, nutrition and obesity, and other subjects. In addition, the University of Illinois Tax School offers high-quality education for tax professionals.
